Matt Oliver started LivewireAV in 2017 with a focus on delivering reliable, professional audio visual production for events where quality and presentation matter. Since then the business has grown steadily by supporting increasingly complex conferences, corporate productions and large-scale live events while continuing to invest in modern equipment and experienced technicians.
Today LivewireAV supports conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, awards evenings, sporting events and outdoor productions across New Zealand, providing professional audio, vision and lighting services that help events run smoothly from planning through to show delivery. Our team regularly works on events ranging from small meetings through to multi-day conferences and large-scale live productions, delivering consistent technical standards nationwide. LivewireAV is trusted by venues, corporates and event organisers across New Zealand.
LivewireAV began operating in 2017, initially servicing both the events industry and hospitality installation market. Early work included supporting live events while also delivering audio visual systems for bars, restaurants and hospitality venues.
During the COVID period the company adapted quickly to deliver virtual and hybrid events, allowing clients to continue engaging audiences under challenging conditions. As live events returned, LivewireAV re-entered the market with expanded capability and a renewed focus on high-quality event delivery.
As the business continued to grow, LivewireAV expanded its capability in 2022 through the acquisition of Corporate AV Services, a business with more than two decades of industry experience at the time. This brought together modern event technology with long-standing technical expertise and strengthened the company’s ability to support larger and more complex productions.
